Every song starts with a story…

This one comes from the toughest year of our lives.

It’s the reason we felt compelled to share the songs we’d been quietly crafting for so long.

We went through a series of traumas:  family.health.more health.more family.

We had brought our new baby home from a sleepless week after a C-section…

A week later there was an earthquake.

Another week later there was a hurricane.

And then our lives became a hurricane for a while longer.

We have been comforted by these words:

The things that can be shaken will be shaken so the things that cannot be shaken will remain.
